Yoga as Skill in Action — A New Year Seasonal Reset
Overview
🌿 ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE
At the start of a new year, life often speeds up before we’ve even caught our breath. We wake up already checking our phones, replaying yesterday’s conversations, or thinking through the next thing on the list. The days blur — full but not always fulfilling — and even when we finally sit down, the mind keeps scanning for what’s next. Many people say they want to slow down, yet when they do, it feels strange — as if the body forgot how to stop. This 2-hour mini retreat offers a different kind of reset — one grounded in attention, not effort. Through movement, anchoring, and reflection, you’ll explore what it means to act skillfully — to move, rest, and choose with awareness rather than habit. Inspired by the Bhagavad Gita’s teaching that “Yoga is skill in action,” the session invites you to reconnect with a quieter, steadier rhythm — one that’s been there all along, just waiting to be noticed.
