Prepare for Birth with Yoga Postures, Breathing & Relaxation
Antenatal Yoga Classes are designed to help you gently stretch and relax your body, strengthen your back muscles to prevent back pain, calm your mind and increase your overall energy and vitality during preganancy. You will also learn breathing, visualisations and relaxation techniques to prepare you for labour and birth.
What will we focus on?
During the 6-weeks, we will focus on postures that improve general flexibility, overall physical strength, tone and joint mobility, and on pranayama breathing and relaxation to help you be more comfortable physically, emotionaly and mentaly during your preganacy term.
Who is it suitable for?
All pregnant mums to be as from 14+ weeks. Please have a chat with your midwife and / or GP before enrolling for Yoga classes.
How do Antenatal Yoga Classes Run?
Antenatal Yoga classes run in blocks of 6 weekly 1,5 Hrs classes to help your body receive accumulative benefits of regular yoga & relaxation practice.
What to bring?
A non-slip Yoga Mat, two cussions, small foot stool, fleecy blunket, warm top and socks, bottle of water.
Drop Ins & Pay As You Go
You are welcome to drop in to the classes on a pay as you go basis if this better suit your time schedule.
