Flow for Féileacáin 🦋
Let's flow together in aid of Féileacáin, a cause very close to our family's hearts.
On April 18th 2023, my niece's Sophie and Grace were born and our family's lives were forever changed. Born prematurely due to complications caused by Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome, a rare condition identical twins can suffer from, they faced an uphill battle.
They fought as hard as they could to stay with us but Sophie passed away peacefully on April 20th with her little sister Grace following her on April 23rd.
This is when we became familiar with Féileacáin. Féileacáin is a not for profit organisation that provides support to anyone affected by the death of a baby or during pregnancy. Formed by a group of bereaved parents they understand the pain losing a child.
One of the most amazing supports they offer are Memory Boxes. These boxes contain various items family's can use to create unforgettable memories with their babies.
They also offer support groups and events for all the family.
In order to give back and thank them for everything they have done for us, I am holding a charity event to raise as much as we can for them.
