Yoga for desk workers
Relieve the mental and postural stress and tension that builds up from desk work, computer use and life in general with these gentle, largely chair-based yoga exercises. Sam Cowan’s lunchtime yoga for desk-workers class includes yogic breathing (to rev up your brain with extra oxygen!) and stretches aimed to relax and energise the hands, arms, shoulders, back, neck and head. Wear clothes that are comfortable to move in, save your lunch for afterwards (no meals for 2 hours beforehand!) and bring some water along. Please do not come if you have a cold (or anything else contagious) or feel unwell. Suitable for all levels, including absolute beginners.
