Yoga for Insomnia and Sleep Recovery™ workshop

Struggling with sleep? Curious about the science of sleep? Want some yogic tools to help? This workshop is for all who may be looking to improve their rest. We will begin with an overview of the science of sleep including brain wave patterns and sleep types, we will practice the Simple Sleep Sequence as designed by Lisa Sanfilippo and finish with some restorative poses and guided meditation.

You will come away with a toolkit to improve your rest; from meditation techniques to taking the quiz to find out your own sleep type. There will be chance for reflections, discussion and taking notes to create your own personal toolkit. Please bring a notebook. Mats and blankets are available at the centre.
