'Find your inner zen'

Escape the bustling city life and treat yourself to a candlelight afternoon of peace and serenity.

We will start by learning how to incorporate a simple yoga practice and meditation into your lifestyle to cultivate awareness and promote a more peaceful way of living. We discover the art of ritual and the benefits that this can bring to the body and mind. We will then move into a delicious deep Yin Yoga practice. This style of yoga focuses on restorative poses that use long holds to release tension and work into the muscle facia and connective tissue. Lastly, we will cozy up on our mats, creating a bed of support for the body with use of props, where you will be lead into a guided 'yoga nidra' meditation, which is best described as yogic sleep. You will leave feeling recalibrated with a deep sense of inner calm.

A little more about your instructor...

Amanda is a Yoga Instructor from New Zealand with a passion for moving her body and living each moment in a mindful, aware state. She constantly seeks to encompass this way of living on, and off her yoga mat. She is a firm believer that your practice can reflect upon your time outside of the studio and inspire how you approach your everyday life. Amanda loves to share this love of yoga as a practice and a lifestyle with you.

Amanda completed her Diploma in Yoga at Wellpark College of Natural Therapies in Auckland and since then she has done many other workshops and teacher trainings across the globe. She loves to keep learning and developing as an instructor, so she can strengthen her knowledge and practice and inspire and grow her students.

Amanda's classes are always fun, whether they are strong and dynamic, or slow and restorative. They are often set to an inspiring playlist that takes you on a journey from start to finish, complements the class and uplifts your practice. Amanda has a fun and friendly approach to teaching, she loves to encourage people to push their boundaries and achieve things they didn't think they necessarily could, this applies to what they do on and off the mat. She wants to see the yoga spark ignited in YOU!
