Join Claire for gentle stretching, followed by a relaxing yoga nidra, in this one hour yoga class, at The Sound School in Highgate.
Please be advised that this venue has 2 flights of stairs and unfortunately there is currently no lift.
Yoga nidra is a deep relaxation technique that, through guided meditation, induces a state of conscious sleep. Practised in savasana, the body is completely relaxed, yet the mind remains awake and alert, (although it's ok if you fall asleep! You will still experince the benefits)
Yoga nidra can help to reduce stress, anxiety and promote inner awareness.
Claire's yoga nidra classes are fun, friendly and are suitable for everyone who is able to lie on the floor. No previous yoga experience is needed.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the class is due to start. You will not be allowed entry once the class has started.
Equipment is provided, but it is recommended that you wear socks and perhaps bring an extra blanket for warmth during the meditation.
The studio does not have a car park. However, there is some parking on nearby side streets. Allow plenty of time so you can then enjoy the class to it's full potential.
