Yoga & Nidra X Rest Space
A space dedicated to rest. Starting with restorative movement, held yin poses and exploring breath, with optional svasana assists, before settling into Nidra or ‘Yogic Sleep’. This is a guided meditation & deep relaxation technique, using sound and intention to expand the experience.
We are using the wonderful space at Rest Space floatation rooms for our small group session. P.S. You should try a 'float' with them if you haven't already!
What is Yoga Nidra?
This mindfulness practice is based on ancient relaxation technique. It is said to help expand self-awareness, increase learning and creativity, influence inner calm and mindset. There are positive effects on physical and mental health, with research showing benefits in holisitic medicine.
How to join?
Show up at you are. No previous yoga experience is necessary. Just be open to embrace the session. Please let me know if you have any allergies, injuries or medical conditions.
I will provide a yoga mat, eye pillow & a blanket, as well as a herbal tea. Wear comfy clothes you can move around in, bring a water bottle and pillow (we won't have the bolsters for these sessions).
Arrive from 7.35pm, for 7.45-9pm.
