We have all had moments where our emotions have overtaken our rational mind. Where feelings of sadness, anger or grief have been so intense we’ve been unable to function. Maybe you’ve even had these feelings come to the surface during your yoga practice?

This workshop offers you ways to focus on feeling and transforming your emotional response to enable you to live a more balanced life.

I suffered with depression and anxiety for many years yet through my yoga practice i’ve come to a place where I can allow emotion to surface, release it and work with it to create a life which is fulfilling and liberating.

The workshop starts with intention setting, meditation and pranayama (breathing techniques). We shift into dynamic/yang practice to move into the heart space. Then we'll journey deeper into heart opening and hip opening in a more yin way. We finish with restorative postures, mudra (hand gestures) and meditation to ground, restore and investigate the connection between mind and body.

You'll leave feeling restored and revived with tools to take away for your personal practice.
