Yoga classes will be led by Laura, taking a holistic, therapeutic approach to combine yin-yang yoga (restorative and powerful), pranayama (breathing techniques), guided meditation and yoga philosophy. Through each themed class, we will take our practice to new levels physically, mentally and energetically, enjoying self-inquiry and discovery.
Learning under the guidance of many inspirational teachers, Laura has developed a teaching style that enables yogi's of all levels to feel secure, confident and inspired in their own practice by combining elements of yoga therapeutics with strong vinyasa flow, self-inquiry, mantra and meditation to provide a supportive, relaxed and playful environment both on and off the mat.
Laura started her own yoga journey at the age of 15, with her first and most inspirational yoga teacher, her grandmother, who taught her to be humble and playful in her practice. Originally from the UK, Laura is a long-term traveller and true-adventurer, committed to life-long learning and to sharing her passion and knowledge with others.
Laura learnt the art of teaching yoga whilst training in Southern India and completed the Yoga Alliance Certified 200 hour RYT training, on a one-to-one basis. She was eager to share her knowledge and experience of yoga and so she left the world of International Education and began to teach full-time in retreat centres and yoga studios across Asia, her home-base for the past 10 years. Laura is dedicated to supporting her students of all ages and abilities, to become well-balanced, creative, open-minded individuals by sharing the philosophy and teachings of yoga combined with her experiences of travelling the world. Laura continued her yoga journey to complete the 300-hour Registered Yoga Teacher Certification in Yin-Yang Yoga; 200-Hour Ayuvedic Yoga Therapy in Mexico; Pre-Natal Yoga Teacher Certification in Hong Kong; and Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher Certification in Bali.
