World Leaders are meeting in Paris to see if they can finally come up with a meaningful solution to climate change. Its their 21st attempt at doing so - whilst oceans rise and weather gets more turbullent, they've been bickering over optional targets!
The Time To Act coalition have called for a huge march in London on Sunday 29th November, bringing together voices from across the UK to spell out our support for a safe climate and a green economy that works for everyone.
York Climate Coalition is bringing together groups from across York who want to get a strong, binding agreement that can stop climate chaos. We'll be holding mobilising meetings, publicity events and a panel debate in the run up to November 29th.
Please try to arrive a few minutes before departure time. Our coaches have on board toilets, and we'll be stopping at services in both directions. 10pm is an approximate return time - we'll confirm the London departure time and place nearer the time.
York Climate Coalition brings together all local groups that want to see political action on climate change, both as an environmental issue and a global, economic justice issue. It includes members of York Friends of the Earth, Frack Free York, York People's Assembly, Just York and York Green and Labour Parties.
