York SOUP - Supporting new community projects in York
Event Information
Description
Help new local community projects get off the ground in York!
100 people can help change York for the better.
The concept is simple: a (£10) ticket entitles you to a delicious meal of homemade soup and bread, and a vote for your favourite local community project pitched on the night. Four ideas for improving York or the local community will be put forward, with the one receiving the most votes taking home all the ticket money. The people behind the project will then be asked to update us on their progress as they bring their idea to life.
We hope this is the first of many York SOUP events and that the evening also proves a great opportunity to meet lots of likeminded people. Inspired by the wildly successful Detriot SOUP, which has raised $85,000 to date.
