This event is part of the York Literature Festival 2017
Get your ticket and come and join us at the train station! You are invited to Quad South Hall, transformed, for two hours, into York Railway Station, where you will be immersed in the fragmented, disparate stories of those who pass through its concourse. You might overhear individual stories or exchanges between people. You might read about lives in missing persons notices and ‘found’ objects. Isolated lives will be revealed to you, but you will also see the strands that connect us all.
Third year York St John Creative Writing students have produced this as a site-specific, multiple-form Creative Writing event and have worked individually and collaboratively to produce it. Without ever leaving the station, you will enjoy their ride through contemporary Britain
