Let the Ivory Bangle Lady show you her final resting place and allow Lady Isabel German, York's Medieval Anchoress show you how she spent her days. Meet Roman Goddess Minerva, Goddess of Wisdom and Drama, and learn why it's of the utmost importance that we pay her respect.
Take a walk down what was once York's Red Light District and come face to face with Mary Jane Sutherland, a Lady of the Night. Hear her story and her plight. Meet one of the very first-known feminists, Josephine Butler, a woman who fought for the rights of other women and their bodies.
