Thank you for your interest in Yorke Mead School. We would like to invite you to join our virtual open day on Wednesday 24th February 2021.

Yorke Mead is a very happy school where every child matters and all our children are cared for and encouraged. We value their achievements and celebrate their successes both in school and the wider community. Our Nursery children are very much part of the school; they learn and play together with our Reception children.

We believe it is important to develop the confidence, motivation and independent learning skills children need during their school years, and their lives beyond school. This learning starts in the Nursery. We enable children to have the experiences to help them to learn the skills for the future and organise how we do this to meet the interests and needs of all of our children.

At Yorke Mead we believe in the importance of enjoyment in learning – bringing learning to life through a rich and varied curriculum.

In 2021 our school, understandably, looks somewhat different as a result of the COVID 19 pandemic and the procedures put in place to ensure that everyone is as safe as they possibly can be. At Yorke Mead we already have a strong emphasis on the wellbeing of our community, and this is never as important as it is today.

Choosing a nursery, and a school, is an important decision and we hope that this virtual open day will help you get a feel for our school and give you the opportunity to ask any questions.
