Event description
Join us for the 24.5 mile Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge and support your local Yorkshire Sue Ryder Hospice.

About this Event

----

Given the latest advice from the government about limiting social contact, Sue Ryder has made the difficult decision to cancel or postpone all fundraising events with immediate effect. Subsequently, we are sad to announce that this year's Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge has been postponed until Saturday 19th September 2020, starting from Green Park.

Any tickets ordered for the original date have been transferred over to the new event date.

Please know how grateful we are to you for providing such amazing support to Sue Ryder. We rely on your valuable contributions and are as disappointed as you will be that so many fundraising activities cannot go ahead, at least for now.

We will be in touch about the new date for the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge as soon as we can. Thank you so much for your support. If you have any questions, please contact the Manorlands fundraising team on manorlands.fundraising@sueryder.org and 01535 640430 or the Wheatfields fundraising team on wheatfields.fundraising@sueryder.org and 01132 033318.

----

Take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge and support your local Sue Ryder hospice. The walk is a challenging 24.5 miles and 5000ft of ascent to be tackled by competent walkers aiming to complete the challenge within 12 hours.

Set against the stunning backdrop of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park, the walk ascends the 3 peaks of Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-ghent. There will be qualified Mountain Leaders throughout the route to assist you with any help you may need.

Breakfast will be available from 6.15am and there will be refreshment stops on the route, in addition to the finish. Event day registration and safety briefing are between 6am and 6.50am and the event will start at 7am.

Entry into this challenge includes a welcome pack, technical t-shirts, and on route expert mountain guides from Yorkshire Dales Guides, as well as fundraising and on the day support from your local hospice team.

The £30 registration fee (per person) covers the cost of this event and so we ask that each member of your team raises a minimum of £200 for either Manorlands or Wheatfields hospice. Your local hospice fundraising team will be on hand to help you every step of the way. We can provide you with collection buckets, banners, bunting and more to help you with your fundraising.

Registration is now open so sign up now to avoid missing out. If you need any more information, please don’t hesitate to get in touch:
