Yorkshire B Local at Darkwoods Coffee

We are bringing together the Yorkshire B Corp community to connect, network, learn and make plans for the future.

As part of the event we will hear the story of Dark Woods Coffee, one of the first Certified B Corps in Yorkshire and have a tour of their roastery which is set in a Victorian weaver’s mill on the banks of the River Colne.

Dark Woods use only specialty grade coffees, with cleaner more distinctive flavours than cheaper commercial coffees, all traceable to skilled farmers and their farms across the world. Carefully roasted to produce an array of flavours to suit a wide range of styles and tastes, leading to multiple awards over the years. They sell their coffee to some of the best coffee shops in the UK as well as supplying Fortnum and Mason, Selfridges, and Liberty. They have a lot to share about their business and B Corp journey to achieve their impressive score of 99.6.
