Will I be the only person showing up on my own?

There are always women who come along by themselves! And although it can seem scary at first, you'll settle in within a few minutes.

Do you cater for dietary requirements?

Of course! I'll ask you to complete a dietary and medical form and ensure there is plenty of variety for everyone.

How fit do I need to be?

A good level of fitness is required to walk 8 miles, but we do walk at a slow and steady pace. We will also have plenty of stops to talk to you about the history, geology, flora and fauna of the area. If you're only interested in hiking quickly, this might not be for you!

Do I need to bring bedding?

You will need to bring a pillow and quilt or sleeping bag.
