Event Details

The Yorkshire & Humber Academic Health Science Network (AHSN) is hosting an event to showcase a wide  range of digital technology in mental health. This will provide examples of digital innovation across topics such as diagnosis, physical health, early intervention, children and young people, perinatal, telehealth and effective use of resources.

We invite you to attend if you commission or provide mental health services, you are a clinician who wants to include digital innovations in their practice, or are an organisation that represents people with lived experience who are interested in digital innovations.

We are pleased to announce Tim Kendall the NHS England Clinical Director for Mental Health as our keynote speaker.  He is the National Clinical Director for Mental Health for NHS England and NHS Improvement. He works closely with his Associate NCDs and Clinical advisors covering perinatal, children’s, adult and forensic mental health. He chairs a number of national committees to implement the mental health strategy in England and leads national programmes of work, including the national suicide reduction strategy, Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) and the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) Digital Panel.

ORCHA (Organisation for the Review of Care and Health Apps) will present their role in finding the best apps for patient needs and working with organisations to empower people to actively use and embrace digital health

The event will be held in Leeds on 24th June 2019, between 9:30am and 2:30pm (finishing with a networking lunch)

A full agenda and details of innovations to be showcased will be provided by the end of May.
