Event description
What Psychologists for Social Change do, how and why it was formed and what has it got to do with clinical psychology?

About this Event

Sophie and Dale have been attending the Yorkshire Psychologists for Social Change (PSC) group for a few years. PSC is a network of psychologists, academics, therapists (or anyone with an interest in psychology!) who are passionate about applying psychological understanding to political policy and action. PSC is a national network with regional groups across the UK.

They will be talking about:

What is PSC?

How and why has it formed?

What has it got to do with Clinical Psychology?

What do they do?

Sharing their personal experiences of the Sheffield based group

They will cover some key theories and research related to social change. We will also be reflecting on how personal, political, and professional issues are linked.
