Event description

Description

Join Yorkshire Tea for a proper celebration of the 2017 Ashes. A unique and exclusive opportunity for just 50 cricket enthusiasts to watch the first day of the Brisbane Ashes Test in the company of the famous Ashes Urn in the MCC Museum at Lord’s. Yorkshire Tea's Night at the Museum is a very special ‘sleepover’ which will start on Wednesday 22 November at 9.30pm GMT and will raise funds for Chance to Shine.

The event will get underway with a tour of the famous Lord’s dressing rooms and Pavilion, before an intimate Q&A session with an Ashes legend. Guests will then get to witness the opening exchanges between Australia and England in the historic surroundings of one of the world's oldest sports museums. An array of cricketing memorabilia will surround them, including the bespoke Ashes Collection, which centres on the famous Ashes Urn.

Bottomless cups of Yorkshire Tea will be available to help fans power through the night, as they watch the action unfold live from The Gabba in the MCC Film Theatre. Refreshments will be available throughout the night, with breakfast baguettes on hand to fuel guests through the next day.

Ticket includes:

  • Tour of the Lord’s Pavilion in the company of an England cricket legend
  • Exclusive Ashes build up coverage including a Q&A with an England Ashes legend
  • Opportunity to watch the first day of the first Ashes Test in the company of the Ashes Urn
