Who the event is for:

Attendees – accommodation providers, retailers, restaurants or any other visitor facing business looking to keep up to date with some of the counties key attractions. Collect promotional literature to display in your own business to inspire guests and ensure visitors to the region have an experience to remember!

Distributors – attractions and destinations who want to share their plans and literature with other visitor facing businesses - (this is free for members!). This is your chance to complement your marketing strategy by ensuring your promotional literature is distributed as far and wide as possible. Come along to engage with other businesses in the industry to make sure visitors to Yorkshire know that your attraction is not to be missed.

There will also be an opportunity to engage with coach operators, tour guides and group travel companies who are looking for inspiration for their guests for the season ahead.

The Welcome to Yorkshire team will be in attendance throughout the day, so meet the team, find out about our upcoming plans, and pick up our latest literature.

Yorkshire Tourism Exchange is sponsored by the World of James Herriot, a multi award-winning, all-weather attraction where James Herriot, the world’s most famous vet, lived, worked and wrote his incredibly successful series of books based on his experiences as a young North Yorkshire vet, All Creatures Great and Small.

The event is supported by EasySwitch Energy, who can offer you honest and consistent advice on the best type of utility contracts to suit your business needs.

Welcome to Yorkshire is the official Destination Management Organisation for Yorkshire. As a membership organisation we work with businesses to help promote them individually, and the county as a whole, on a national and international scale. If you have any questions about Yorkshire Tourism Exchange or would like to discuss membership, please contact Emma Sanderson / 0113 322 3564.
