Hello! I'm Sophie and I'm the organiser of Yorkshire Yarn Fest.

I'm very excited to share with you this weekend, Saturday and Sunday of celebrations of all things craft, with crafting social events, a marketplace of vendors and workshops!! I've been working hard on organising Yorkshire Yarn Fest events since 2019, and I'm so happy to share with you all this weekend of celebrations of all things yarn and craft!

The new venue is Sandburn Hall, address: Flaxton, York YO60 7RB - https://www.sandburnhall.co.uk

Sandburn Hall hotel boasts an 18 hole golf course, stunning function hall, event space, with Tykes restaurant and nearby lodge accommodation.

Located just off the A64, between York and Malton with easy transport links and lots of free parking. Accessible to all, lift to first floor room and workshops

The venue for our November festival is Sandburn Hall, Flaxton, York.

Sandburn Hall is situated 8 miles north east of York, easily accessed just off the A64 between York & Malton. Located in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside in a 1000 acre estate surrounded by woodland and lakes. The perfect base from which to explore City, Coast & Country!

Free parking is available at the venue.

Park and Ride service operates from Monks Cross into York City Centre.

SATURDAY 8TH NOVEMBER

Festival open 10am - 5pm

Workshops taking place from 10am - 5pm

Craft Night Saturday 6pm - 8pm (Craft night free entry with Saturday or Sunday ticket)

SUNDAY 9TH NOVEMBER

Festival open 9am-10am for for inclusive access to improve accessibility for those living with visible and hidden disabilities (You are welcome to stay all day, you don't have to leave after the hour slot, just entry at this time slot means you have an hour to have a quieter time on the Sunday morning)

Workshops taking place from 10am - 5pm

Festival open 10am - 4pm
