You and your dog - walking together - PEDT
Sat 29 April 2017, 14:30 – 17:30 BST
Does your dog pull on the lead when you are out walking?
Do you find you are sore after a walk from the constant pulling to sniff and greet other people and dogs?
Are you having to use a variety of equipment such as harnesses and head collars to stop the pulling?
If so, join us for an afternoon workshop to delve into the reasons as to why our dogs pull on the other end of the lead and how we resolve it.
So much of the time when out walking with your dog is spent with you and your dog at odds over what you both want from the time outdoors. Be examining why your dog pulls, what he is trying to get at by pulling and then understanding how to resolve it, you will be able to have a more comfortable walk with your dog. Both of you will then be able to get what you need from your time outside together.
The workshop is theory based, there are no dogs at this event. The practical aspect of this class will be held on the 7th May at The Dog Play Centre in West Calder.
Positively Excellent Dog Trainers' workshops are interactive, where Clare and John will lead discussion and group activities to give attendees a greater understanding of how to resolve their dogs pulling in the lead.
Although there are no dogs at this workshop, previous attendees have found the format of this style of learning extremely beneficial to their lives with their dogs.
We look forward to seeing you there.
