Description

You Are The Media is a weekly email, sent every Thursday morning at 9am that encourages businesses to own the spaces that are theirs.

It is also a conference on May 24th 2018.

The whole focus is to demonstrate the validity of an owned media approach. There are people standing up and making a change that is realistic and not in the realms of Red Bull, Coke etc. where people cannot relate to.

Let us move it up a gear and turn it into a monthly occasion.

This is the definition of becoming the media:

A media company represents the ability to deliver a consistent message to a targeted audience through a preferred channel, in order to inform, enlighten and entertain.


WHY:

There is a community that is growing, why hide behind something that arrives in an in-box.

Stop giving your money to the likes of Google, Facebook and buying lists of strangers. They do not care about the development of your business. Even worse companies who give it the big 'I AM' and don't live by what they tell everybody else to behave.


WHAT WILL BE DIFFERENT FROM EVERY OTHER EVENT THAT IS BOXED UP AS NETWORKING?

People are making a stand by delivering a consistent message to build their audience. Let's showcase what they are doing and for you to take on board to help you build momentum.


WHAT ELSE AM I GOING TO TAKE FROM THIS, YOU'RE CHARGING ME?

As this is going to be every month and the last Thursday of each month, your lunchtime has to be worthwhile. Don't waste money on the Subway, different places to eat, chat and take new things on board.

Let's feed your body and fill your head with momentum.

Your lunch is going to be supplied from Oli Perron's fair hands at Lunchd.

Whilst the focus for You Are The Media is very much an owned media approach, let's not forget how paid and earned media can support the distribution of your message.
