Relax and make art in these fun and friendly groups

Don’t think you can draw or paint? You Can!

You don’t need any special art materials. We can make art using anything you have.

Glasgow artist John Martin Fulton will help guide you step-by-step to create your own art. Surprise yourself with what you can make or just see some other friendly faces trying something new. There is no such thing as making mistakes and you are guaranteed to feel more relaxed and positive after your session.

From 8pm till 9.30pm with a tea break. No pressure – just relaxation.

Group leader John Martin is a Dennistoun resident and an artist who has been running therapeutic art groups in social care.

“I studied painting at Glasgow School of Art from 2000-2004 and exhibit my own painting professionally. For the past 5 years I have been leading art groups for people in difficult situations; people who are homeless, recovering from addiction, in the criminal justice system, or facing problems with health or mental illness. As well as this I've also been working with adults with learning disabilities and vulnerable children".
