Young Apprentice Ambassador Network Training

Are you an energetic, engaged apprentice or former apprentice aged 18-26? Are you passionate about your apprenticeship journey?

As a valued member of the Young Apprentice Ambassador Network, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to use your unique experiences to help inspire students, their teachers and their parents about the incredible opportunities that apprenticeships offer.

This training session will empower you to do just that.

1. What is the YAAN?

The Young Apprentice Ambassador Network (YAAN) is a community of inspiring, driven apprentices and former apprentices who have chosen to register as Young Apprentice Ambassadors in their local area.

Sign-up is free, and Young Apprentice Ambassadors will be at the heart of many National Apprenticeship Service campaigns throughout the year.

2. What is a Young Apprentice Ambassador?

The purpose of the YAAN is to give today’s apprentices the opportunity to engage and inspire the apprentices of tomorrow.

Young Apprentice Ambassadors are a strong, positive voice for apprenticeships. Ambassadors connect with schools in their local area to share their own unique experiences, delivering talks, advice and events about apprenticeships to students in years 11-13.

3. What is this Training?

This training session will provide Young Apprentice Ambassadors will help you to develop and practice presentation skills.

The training will take around six hours, and will empower Young Apprentice Ambassadors to visit schools and present inspiring talks. Refreshments and resources will be provided.
