Introductory presentation which will cover:

• An introduction to Social Security Scotland (who we are and what we do).

• Policy and eligibility criteria for Young Carer Grant.

• The application process for Young Carer Grant.

• The process for asking Social Security Scotland to look again at a decision.

There will be the opportunity to ask questions throughout the presentation.

12:30 – 12:45.

Preparing your service and maximising take-up of Young Carer Grant:

• We will tell you about our communication approach for Young Carer Grant.

• We will show you the communication materials we have developed and give you the chance to place orders for these materials.

• We will talk to you about the further support we can provide to help you prepare your service for Young Carer Grant.

• What communication material and support are available to you.

12:45 – 13:30.

There will be the opportunity to stay and ask us any more questions and network with other people attending the event.
