The Young Entertainers Academy Awards are proud to present the 5th Young Entertainers in the Community Awards at Goldsmiths, University of London.
Join us on Saturday November 8th 2025 in Goldsmiths grand Great Hall for a night of celebrating talented young individuals making a difference in our community. Get ready to be entertained and inspired by the amazing performances and achievements of our young performers. Don't miss out on this special event!
The Young Entertainers in the Community Awards is an exciting “Oscars style” awards ceremony that recognises and celebrates young people in community performance, from ages 8-24.
Featuring special performances and celebrating 12 award winners ranging from the best in community musical theatre, dance and acting, to best soloist, musician, and more.
Join us to celebrate the nominees, winners, and outstanding performing arts teachers and leaders working behind the scenes.

Frequently asked questions
Goldsmiths is in New Cross, South East London, five miles from central London.
Arrival is from 5 PM for a 6 PM start.
While we do not operate a strict dress code policy, this is a prestigious event and casual wear such as jeans or trainers are discouraged.
There is no public parking at Goldsmiths but there are a lot of residential streets around the university.
Goldsmiths is well connected to the public transport network in London. The following buses stop close to Goldsmiths: 21, 36, 53, 136, 171, 172, 177, 225, 321, 343, 436 and 453. Goldsmiths is less than five minutes’ walk from both New Cross and New Cross Gate railway stations.
The venue is wheelchair accessible.
Refunds are available if the Event is cancelled. In the case of a paying attendee requesting a cancellation/ is unable to attend the Event, refunds will not be given, however a substitute attendee may be nominated before 11.59pm one week prior to the Event without charge. Email: info@yeaawards.com
We operate a Challenge 25 drinks policy, proof of 18yrs+ ID will be required at the Event, those unable to satisfy proof of age will not be served alcohol. Those under 18yrs are not permitted to consume alcohol or have anybody try to obtain alcohol on their behalf.
No. A range of complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages will be provided throughout the night.
The minimum age of entry is 8 years and all children and young people under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 or over.
