Booking
Order confirmation and event reminder will go to the e-mail you enter. Please ensure this an address for a carer/parent and NOT the address for a young person under 18 years of age.
What happens once you have booked?
You will automatically receive an e-mail confirmation (containing all these details and precisely what you have booked).
Several more e-mails will be sent before the course is due to start as a reminder and containing the Zoom ID and Password

On the day
The course online is interactive, and theory based for which we highly recommend a minimum of a PC/laptop or tablet is used, and if available, headphones with a built-in mic.
The times stated is the time the modules start, so please aim to log on and check in during the 15 mins before. You will be held in a lobby until the Host lets you in.
Make sure you have paper, a writing implement and refreshments to hand.
Wearing your scout scarf is optional.
Course location
The course will be held on Zoom which you will be able to access using the link and password which will be emailed to you before the event.
Safeguarding
The courses will be presented in accordance to Scout HQ safety guidance. https://www.scouts.org.uk/volunteers/scouts-at-home/taking-scouts-online/staying-safe-online/. There will always be two adults on the training team in the online conference room to ensure safeguarding with password protection to enter the conference, to ensure we are keeping young people safe.
After the course
An e-mail will be sent as the course finishes. This will ask for your help in shaping future events by providing feedback.
