Young Marine Biologist Club: The Tree of Ocean Life
About this event
🦠 Welcome to the Marine Biological Association's First Young Marine Biologist Club 🦠
YMB Club is a brand new programme of monthly, interactive, online events for Young Marine Biologist Members of the Marine Biological Association aged 13-18.
The Club will be an interactive online session with great opportunities to meet and work with fellow young marine biologists.
Attend a one-off session or sign-up to take part monthly!
This session will focus on the Darwin Tree of Life Project – an ambitious project mapping the genomes of 70,000 species in Britain and Ireland.
Alongside our hosts, scientists from this project will join us to tell you more about the project, show you what working on the project looks like including behind the scenes footage, and share some inspirational stories.
You'll get the opportunity to:
🦠 Ask all your questions
🦠 Take part in some fun, interactive activities based on the project
🦠 Meet other young marine biologists
