Young people and heritage funding workshop
Thu 27 October 2016, 14:00 – 16:00 BST
Join the Heritage Lottery Fund for a funding workshop this October to find out more about funding for projects involving young people.
The Heritage Lottery Fund is the largest dedicated funder of heritage in the UK thanks to money raised by National Lottery players. We support all kinds of projects which help make a lasting difference for heritage, people and communities. Young Roots is a grant programme for organisations that are looking to provide young people aged 11 to 25 with active roles in planning and delivering a heritage project. As part of the Scotland-wide celebrations of the Year of History, Heritage and Archaeology 2017, we are also offering grants of £3,000 to £10,000 to project which engage new people and a wider range of people with their history.
This session will include an overview of the different grant programmes available, case studies of previous projects we've funded involving young people and an opportunity to discuss your project ideas with staff from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
