Description

Developing Youth Practice and funded by the Illegal Money Lending Team who run the Stop Loan Sharks Campaign will deliver this one day training course, which aims to support practitioners to raise awareness of, and build positive financial capabilities for young people. Which includes preventing young people from using Illegal Money Lenders, more commonly known as Loan Sharks.

Training Course outcomes:

  • Increased awareness of the dangers of using loan sharks and how to report loan sharks

  • Understanding the psychology of young people and money

  • Skills to engage young people in financial matters

  • Helping young people make the most of their money & manage debt

Refreshments: Tea and coffee will be provided and there is an onsite café as well as numerous outlets nearby.

You will recieve a certificate of attendance for CPD continuing professional development purposes.This training is supported by the England Illegal Money Lending Team funding to support their Stop Loan Sharks campaign.
