Event description

Description

Young People's Festival of Ideas: Why are young people homeless? And what can we do about it?

Wed 25 January, 19:00-20:30
The Station, Silver Street, Bristol
FREE but ticket required.

For our first event in 2017, we want to look at how we can begin to tackle the problem of homelessness of young people in Bristol.

How can you become homeless to begin with?

What impact does it have?

And how can young people actually get into permanent accommodation?

We want to explore what difference we can make, whether it’s big or small.

Changing this issue is going to be a huge task, and not one that’s going to be solved overnight, but we have to start somewhere.

More information about the panel here.

Young People’s Festival of Ideas is a series of debates on critical issues affecting young people today. Brought to you by an event partnership between Bristol Festival of Ideas, Rising Arts Agency and Arnolfini, the event is open to all. Please note that audience data is shared amongst the named partners.

Please ensure you use the correct email address. This is where your ticket will be sent. If you do not provide the correct address, you will not receive the acknowledgement email or ticket. You must bring your ticket with you to gain entry.

We have restricted the number of tickets that can be booked to 2 per transaction. This has been introduced in an effort to stop people automatically booking multiple tickets without confirming if they have guests to go with them. If you need more than 2 tickets, you can click on the booking link again.

We endeavours to hold events in venues that are accessible to all, but if you have specific access concerns please contact us.
