Young People's Quiz Night
Event Information
About this Event
Join us on Sunday 29th November at 4pm - 5.30pm for a fun quiz, hosted by members of our very own Children and Young People's Council (CYPC)!
The Quiz
With different topics to get you thinking as well as the chance to meet other young people, including your hosts, Claudia, Will, Lucy and Izzy, you won't want to miss this event!
With 4 rounds to really put your knowledge to the test, including a round on Disney, famous people, TV & films, and general knowledge, you'll be able to find out how much you really know!
Taking Part
This quiz is best suited to children and young people aged 9 and above. Family members, including siblings, are very welcome to also join in with the quiz (and do not need to book any extra tickets).
All you'll need to bring with you is a pen or pencil and a piece of paper to write down your answers at home for each round. We'll then tally up scores and announce the winner at the end!
There will be time to meet your quiz hosts before the quiz gets started and plenty of time afterwards to meet other young people too. Claudia, Will, Lucy and Izzy have also thought of some fun games to help break the ice and make sure everyone can get to know each other a bit better.
Whilst staying around to chat at the end is completely optional, we hope that everyone at this event will feel comfortable to join in.
Your Hosts
Claudia, Will, Lucy and Izzy are members of CLAPA's Children and Young People's Council (CYPC), which is made up of young people born with a cleft from all across the UK. They have been working hard to organise this fun quiz night, and really hope you can join them!
Registering
Your parent/carer needs to fill in our online registration form if you are under 18. If you are under 13, we also need a responsible adult to drop you off on screen at the beginning of the event and stay nearby throughout. This is really important so we can be sure to keep you safe while you join in with CLAPA events.
CLAPA staff members will be on the Zoom call to help facilitate and make sure everyone is safe, but will generally let the young people who organised the event take the lead. We will email you the Zoom link and password before the event begins on Sunday 29th November to the email address you register with.
For details on how we keep children and young people safe at all CLAPA events, visit our website https://www.clapa.com/about-us/policies-procedures/
If you have any questions about this event, or anything else, please get in touch with our Children and Young People's Officer, Claire, at Claire.Evans@clapa.com.
