Does a parent/carer need to stay with the young person attending?

Accepted Answer

These sessions do not require a parent/carer to attend, so long as all permission questions are filled in with the booking. It is up to the parent/carer whether the young person makes their own way to/from or is dropped off at the car park.

Question 2

Do I need to attend all of the sessions?

Accepted Answer

No! You can sign up for anything from one session to all six, depending on what you would like to do. Each session is repeated twice so you might not want to attend the same one twice, but you are welcome to if you'd like more experience.

Do I have to pay?

Accepted Answer

No, all sessions are free of charge but must be booked on Eventbrite so we know how many people to expect

Question 4

Where do I meet the staff for the session?

Accepted Answer

We will meet by the Grenoside Wood car park entrance on Woodhead Road. You will be able to recognise us by our logo'd coats.

Question 5

What do I need to bring?

Accepted Answer

You will need to wear sturdy footwear- we'd suggest boots or wellies, but for good weather trainers might be okay too. You will need warm layers and a waterproof as we will be outside. Bring a bottle of water, and a snack if you want one.
