About this Event

Who is this workshop for:

***Only for Practising lawyers with basic knowledge and experience in nationality law.**

This workshop will cover British nationality law and policy concerning the application of good character requirement in children and young adults registering as British citizens including children and young persons in care of the State.

Who will deliver this workshop: This workshop will be delivered by Steve Valdez-Symonds. Steve is the Refugee and Migrant Rights Programme Director at Amnesty International UK and volunteer legal researcher with the Project for the Registration of Children as British Citizens (PRCBC). His experience of immigration and nationality law includes 6 years as the legal officer of the Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association (ILPA).

How will the workshop be delivered: It will be delivered via Zoom. Attendees who have booked will be sent a Zoom link a week before the workshop.
