AQA Unit Award Scheme: Introduction to Habitat Management (Part 2)

This week Young Rangers will work towards an AQA Unit Award Scheme certificate in Habitat Management - don't worry there's no tests involved, it's all hands-on conservation!

We'll be helping to maintain areas of open habitat for specialist wildlife that make old quarries and mines areas their home. Rare butterflies, bats and plants can all thrive with a bit of a helping hand!

Please remember to bring a packed lunch and warm, waterproof workwear.

Please note:

  • Toilets on site, located at teh Village Hall nearby.
  • A one off annual registration of £25 is requested for registration on the AQA Unit Award Scheme (optional). Several AQA certificated sessions are run throughout the year
  • Participants must be registered on Young Rangers before attending this, and other YR events.
