Young Shot’s are invited to join BASC on Friday 8th August for a Simulated Field to Fork Experience Day at Greenquarries Shooting Ground, Wigton, Cumbria.

Youngsters will spend the morning testing their shotgun shooting skills on a range of simulated live quarry targets under the guidance of our BASC coaching staff. Following lunch, they will then receive demonstrations and be guided on how to prepare different species of game for the table, and enjoy some freshly cooked taste of game they have prepared.

The day is suitable for those with some shooting experience and youngsters looking to develop their shooting and game preparation skills.

Youngsters will need to bring a packed lunch and suitable outdoor clothing for the expected weather. All other equipment will be provided but if your youngster has their own shotgun, they are welcome to bring it with them. Please ensure relevant certificates are also present on the day.

Time: 10:00 – 15:00. Once your youngster has been signed in/registered with one of our staff, you may then leave and return at 14.30 to collect them.

Age: Minimum 10 years old - Maximum 18 years old (please contact us if your youngster is less than 10 years old)

Cost for the day is:

BASC Junior Member £30.00 per person

Young Shot (non BASC Member) £35.00 per person

Please note: Ticket fees will only be refunded up to 7 days before the event.

If you wish to cancel your ticket the booking fee, which is absorbed by BASC on booking, (approx. £2.68) will not be refunded.

If BASC cancel the event you will receive a full refund.
