Tour of Swinford Wind Farm – 25th September 2025
Meet at Lutterworth Golf Club (what3words ///export.electrode.question)at 3.30pm to leave at 3.45pm and to travel to the Wind Farm Site in a minibus to start for 4pm. There is limited parking at the site itself.
Hear from Andrew Claridge and colleagues from Vattenfall about the existing wind farm, new site development processes and community benefit provisions. Also hear from the landowners as to how the site works for them.
After the visit it’s back to Lutterworth Golf Club for a drink and two course meal, Eating at 6:15pm. Please indicate your menu choices on the forms they are:

Oven Roasted Lemon & Thyme Chicken with new potatoes and vegetables
Roasted Salmon and pesto with new potatoes and vegetables
Steak & Ale pie with mashed potatoes, vegetables and gravy
Pearl Barley Risotto with wild mushrooms, pickled red onions and salsa verde

Lemon Cheesecake served with cream
Apple Pie & Custard
Cost of the visit will be £15 to MCAVA members (plus Eventbrite fees). Spaces are limited to please book promptly to avoid disappointment.
