Tue 27 – Thu 29 August, 10am-3pm every day
Gateshead Central Library

Are you interested in film making? Come and take part in the the 72 Hour Summer Film Challenge, where you'll work as a group with professional writers and film makers to create an original short film. Learn how to write for the screen, storyboard, compose shots, operate camera and sound, act and direct – you choose your role! Over three action packed days you’ll learn all the skills used by movie industry professionals to bring their vision to the silver screen… or silver stream!

No previous experience is necessary, just a willingness to work together and try something new!

Donations

Tickets are free! But if you can, please consider donating to the charity when booking your ticket. With support from people like you, we can help to cover the costs of providing free creative writing programmes for children and young people. These run throughout the year, often in disadvantaged areas where there are fewer opportunities.

We work to help these young people to realise their potential. We develop skills, nurture talent, and encourage them to have a go at creative writing. We create environments where young writers can make friends, boost their confidence, try out new things, and have fun!

Our suggested donation is £25, but anything you can give will make a big difference. Thank you.
