Join the Intergalactic Tourist Agency in creating an advert to entice visitors from this world and beyond to the North East this summer!

This is an unmissable opportunity to work with a professional filmmaker in the TV and film studios at Gateshead College and learn how to make your own film.

New Writing North's free summer programmes are for young people aged 11-19 to try fun writing projects, meet like-minded people and make something new in a relaxed, friendly and inclusive environment.

Donations

Tickets are free! But if you can, please consider donating to the charity when booking your ticket. With support from people like you, we can help to cover the costs of providing free creative writing programmes for children and young people. These run throughout the year, often in disadvantaged areas where there are fewer opportunities.

We work to help these young people to realise their potential. We develop skills, nurture talent, and encourage them to have a go at creative writing. We create environments where young writers can make friends, boost their confidence, try out new things, and have fun!

Our suggested donation is £25, but anything you can give will make a big difference. Thank you.
