Description

Schedule: Arrive 6:00pm (workshop 6.30-8.00pm), followed by networking

This 90 minute career workshop with international HR consultant Huma Qazi will give you the opportunity to identify your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT). The session will also focus on how to apply this information to maximise your career. The workshop will be followed by networking.

About the SWOT workshop
How can you play more to your strengths and uncover opportunities? How can you eliminate threats or minimise their impact on your career? We all have weaknesses, but how can having a greater awareness of them help us at work? Do you, more often than not, find ways to talk yourself out of doing things? What’s limiting you? Do you enjoy taking risks or do you feel out of your comfort zone? What’s right for you and why?

At this workshop, you will complete a SWOT analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats from a career and personal development perspective. You will get a better understanding of how you can play to your strengths and how you can take calculated risks. You will develop insight on how greater self-awareness, self-belief and confidence can help you feel more grounded.
