Warrington Borough Council’s Careers for Young People service will once again be holding its highly successful careers event on Thursday 14th September 4pm-7pm at Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub. The event is designed to help 15 to 25 year olds find the right course, apprenticeship, or job in Warrington. We will also be supporting Adult Community Learning and have representatives present who can advise on how you can get involved!

All attendees will get the chance to speak with local employers, colleges and training providers and will be able to apply for jobs, apprenticeships, short courses and programmes. Young people will be able to gather an understanding of the careers and courses that are available and have the chance to gain an insight into the world of work.

EMPLOYERS, COLLEGES AND TRAINING PROVIDERS WILL INCLUDE; Careers for Young People, Cruden Group Limited, IKEA, Simian Risk, Priestley College, UTC Warrington, Riverside College & Apprenticeships, Cronton 6th Form College, University of Chester, Interserve Learning & Development, Babington Group, University of Chester, Groundwork: Princes Trust, Learning Curve Group, Inspire to Independence, Derwen College.


The list of Employers, Training Providers and College will be updated on a regular basis

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?


There is on-site parking at Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub including disabled parking spaces.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You are not required to print out you ticket for the Careers Event we would prefer you just to turn up!

We will though ask you to sign in to let us know that you have attended when you arrive.
