Money makes the world go round, but how many of us actually understand what money is, and importantly, how it affects us emotionally and psychologically?

This two day workshop takes as its starting point the observation that otherwise effective, creative individuals and groups are often hampered in their wish to make changes, take action or forge new directions by hopes and fears about money. The pull of what we most deeply wish to do, or feel called to do, often gets confused and distorted by beliefs about how money fits into the picture.

Based on the groundbreaking research over more than 30 years of Peter Koenig, this workshop helps you uncover the unconscious projections you make onto money. It frees you up powerfully to take the next steps you need in your life, project or organisation. It is quite explicitly not a workshop about ‘how to make money!’ But rather an invitation to explore deeply held assumptions about money that are unconsciously stopping you moving into the fullest expression of what you are really here to do.

The workshop will help you:

  • explore with curiosity and honesty your assumptions about and relationship to money and their roots in your personal history

  • recognize the reality you have created in various aspects of your life and in the world so far, based on your relationship to money

  • create a totally different mindset that allows you to experience much greater freedom in your relationship with money

  • learn a simple system that will enable you to address the subject of money with much greater awareness and as a powerful tool for self development

  • integrate your insights back into your life and work so you can act with more lightness and clarity of purpose

  • understand your personal, team or organisational experience in the context of wider issues related to money and finance in society.

What people have said about The Money Workshop:

“The Money Workshop led by Tim started me on a journey which was so very insightful … in terms of defining my own authenticity and purpose. The workshop opened up numerous questions about how relationships with money inhibit and mask the work that we really want to do. It was through this that a clearer sense of agency, honesty and courage has been brought into my work.”

Alex Base, Head of Operational Sustainability, HSBC

“I’m happy to report that since the workshop just over a year ago, I have made significant, positive strides in my relationship and behaviours relating to money. My approach is now much less burdened by emotional baggage and confusion and more anchored in clear, practical action.

I have resolved several chronic, foggy areas of my own personal finances with relative ease and am now much more able to find swift and satisfactory solutions to arising financial issues and challenges.”

Amy Rose, Theatre Director & Live Artist

“The workshop was a fascinating process of discovery. It challenges your concept of money, what it means to you, and the power it has to propel us forward or hold us back in different ways.

Tim is a unique facilitator, able to work deeply with each person within a very safe space that he creates. I absolutely recommend it provided you are willing to open yourself up to experience deep self-awareness leading to the possibility of change. This … is an insight into some of the most profound drivers of your choices in your life.”

Sarah Tennyson, Global Head of Professional Development, Professional services training company
