A large part of the recruitment role is talking to people about their applications for roles in the Government Statistical Service, and providing guidance on the roles we recruit for, the locations around the UK that we recruit for, and how to bring out the best of themselves in their application and at interview.

If you are looking for assistance on any part of the application, or are looking for information on the GSS, then these sessions are for you.

As a candidate for the GSS, you will be asked to submit several pieces of information for assessment, and the process will include statistical, dissemination and judgement tests, as well as a panel interview.

This session discusses the recruitment and selection process, provides tips and advice on how to ensure you put your best foot forward ,and looks to answer some of the common questions our candidates ask.
