Culture. A broad topic that's for sure. In this webinar series we take a look at a number of areas it affects in the workplace and with the added bonus of guest speakers to give us their take on it.

With the backdrop being centred around the Covid-19 pandemic, we also look to the future to wonder – do we need to change the way we think?

April 14th 2021 – Webinar 1

Guest speaker announced! Our friends at The Happiness Index join us to discuss how employees felt during the pandemic and what is important moving forward.

Our Group HR Manager delves into how culture is key, to create better outcomes for clients, colleagues and the company.

Last but not least our Head of Design runs through uniform throughout the ages, symbolism and how it impacts culture in the workplace

May 5th 2021 – Webinar 2

Guest speaker announced! Investors in People have a little chat with us to ponder - where are our cultural blind spots in the workplace?

Murray’s MD discusses if returns can be secured from investing in company culture.

What with working from home becoming a regular fixture in our lives, Coventry University & Winchester University students show us their designs for the WFM look. Are you on trend?!

May 19th 2021 – Webinar 3

Guest speaker announced! The lovely people at Great Place To Work take some time to talk about wellbeing: Integrating employee wellbeing into workplace culture has been talked about for a long time - for some organisations however, it took a pandemic and series of national lockdowns to realise just how important this is. So in today's reality, how and why should we prioritise workplace wellbeing?

We also talk about remote working - a wider assessment plus a view from closer to home.

Finally, a case of identity – how uniform can really impact the workforce.

About Murray Uniforms

Murray Uniforms have been designing and manufacturing clothing since 1918 (see our heritage timeline), so it's safe to say we know a thing or two about garment manufacturing.

Our business has a unique approach to uniform - we understand that uniform has a job to do, not just for the brand and health & safety, but also for the wellbeing and performance of the workforce.

We go further than just our set of beliefs; in 2019, we commissioned Coventry University, to develop a research study on How Wearing a Uniform to Work Impacts a Person in Their Role? We now know how and why uniform impacts staff and where the focus needs to be to improve happiness and productivity of staff in their roles.
