About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

During this online event, referencing the CIPD profession map, we will compare historic career paths with current trends, seeking to identify what the future of a career in L&D might look like. We aim to:

  • Explore current trends in the L&D profession and their impact on career opportunities.
  • Highlight different career paths within the L&D field, such as instructional design, training facilitation, and e-learning development.
  • Discuss potential career progression and opportunities for advancement in L&D.

We will ask a few questions such as:

1. Is now the time to re-write L&D career pathways?

2. Who is attracted to roles within L&D?

3. What excites others to enter the L&D profession?

4. In a time of global uncertainty and fast-changing employee expectations, what are the top three attractions to work in L&D?

There will also be opportunity for online networking, immediately following the session.
