About this event

Living with axial SpA for a number of years can come with challenges, but there are lots of practical ways to manage the impact it has on your life. Join this friendly online meeting to:

  • Find tools to help you manage your pain
  • Share ideas on fitting activity and exercise into your day
  • Get practical advice on sleeping comfortably, using mobility aids, and handy devices around the house
  • Connect with other people with axial SpA
  • Share your experiences
  • Ask the NASS team any questions you may have

Please note: We will not be discussing medication in this meetup. We cannot give clinical advice or answer specific clinical questions. We can advise when to speak to your healthcare professionals if your question isn't able to be answered during the session.

About our meetups

The online meetup is led by NASS Programme Manager, Zoe Clark, who lives with axial SpA herself, and NASS Head of Information and Support Services, Sally Dickinson.

Anyone with a diagnosis of axial spondyloarthritis (axial SpA) or ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is welcome to join.

The meeting is run via Zoom and is not recorded. We encourage you to use your camera and microphone to chat with other attendees. If you're new to Zoom, read our guide.

Please read our meetup guidelines before joining the session.

If you have any questions or accessibility requirements, please email zoe@nass.co.uk

Look forward to seeing you there!
