About this event
Summary
We often think of the teaching interview as being the hardest element of acquiring a middle leadership role. However, for many of us who have been middle leaders for a long period of time we will all tell you the hardest part of acquiring the role is what you do once someone has told you the job is yours. It is certainly the best feeling in the world but it also brings great responsibility and a level of unpredictable uncertainty which is very different from normal classroom teaching.
This course will therefore provide you with an array of strategies, anecdotes and discussion as to not only how you can survive in a middle leadership role but also how you can have impact to take your career to the next level. This course will also examine how to deal with difficult staff and how to take them with you on your journey to achieve your vision of being a successful middle leader.
Target Audience
This course is aimed at educators who are either new or aspiring to achieve a middle leadership role in their school.
